The Formula One Teams Association (FOTA) confirmed on Thursday, that in-season testing will return next year.
The ban came in 2008 in an attempt to cut cost, and since then only the pre-season testing have been allowed. But as the brilliant people over at GPUpdate.net reports, 2012 will see a return to in-season testing, with the test taking place in May at the Mugello circuit in Italy.
The tests will start on February 7-10 at Jerez, then 21-24 February in Barcelona, 1-4 March also in Barcelona and then the Mugello test between 1-3 May.
